View Full Version : IDRC is coming to Utah! Big import race!!

June 30th IDRC will be coming over this way to Utah at RMR, it's about 40 minutes outside of salt lake city, it's about a 4 hour drive from Boise Idaho. IDRC has ALOT of heads up classes, should be a great event! I will be there with the talon with the new setup. Hope to see some of you there!

WOW, I can't beleive no one has posted in this thread. Is anyone going to be there? Come on guys, I know there are alot of DSMer's in Utah, Nevada, Colorado, ect.

I did IDRC last year at California Speedway. Not a lot of people showed up and I got screwed out of a couple warm up runs to tune the car the first day. I was not too happy with the experince. Add in the fact that the guys running the tree were asleep it seemed I was rather miffed. I guess my car was rocking while on the stutter box and well, the second staging light was flicking on and off, after about 10 seconds, I let off the stutter box and then he decided to let the lights drop. I stepped on the gas again, but the car bogged hard on the launch and I ran a 17 second quarter mile at 104 mph. Quickest 17 seconds of my life.

Hopefully I can go this year, that is, if things are done.

hmm thats only about a 5 hour drive for me but i bet my car wouldnt make it there and back

So grab a few friends and car pool down:D We are trying to get as many people as possible to come down so IDRC can make there decision if it will be a permanent scheduled event every year in Utah at RMR. It's about a 4.5 hour drive for me.

Should be some quick cars down there.
I will be there with the talon
Brett Todd and his low 9 sec supra should be there (build pending)
Cortney Green and his SFWD mid 9 sec civic will be there
And alot of others as well. Should be an awesome event! Minus the high elavation but yet again, we will all be in that same boat.
