I have a 97spyder gst and what happens is when i take off it feels like it takes off in 2nd or 3rd really slugish but then it down shifts and it's fine but once i come to a stop and go it does it again.
some times while in idle in Drive the car stalls like if i realesed the clutch to soon (if it were 5speed).
also what i noticed is that when i turn on the parking lights the o/d off light turns off (I usually drive with it off in town) and as soon as i turn off the ligths it comes back on. So i'm thinking it might be an electrical problem.
What are some troubleshooting things that i can do?
Does any one have the tcu pin outs and or wiring schematics for the tranny components?
I did check the solenoid resistance and got:
red tcc:3.6 ohms
blue pressure:3.7
the others:22ohms
WOuld the low resistance of the tcc cause any of these problems?
Thanks for your help.

Danny

Maybe a input speed sensor... just a thought.
