If anyone could give me pointers, or help, or anything on installing my 4bolt differential in my 91, it would be appreciated. If anyone wants to meet me somewhere, or I could go somewhere or something, I would be super happy. I would like to do it in 2 weekends from now. There will be lots of food provided for anyone that wants to help. I really would like help on this, and you can bring any of your friends or whatever. Think of it as a mini dsm meet, but you get food, drinks, etc. I would like to install it instead of a shop to save about 600 bucks.
Only people that know how, or have experience with installing diffs please. The last thing I need is to have my gsx in worse condition than when we started.
Thanks alot guys!

I'd be willing to travel a bit to go to someones shop/house if they wanted to help.....we could probably work out a price or something. But a shop quoted me 1100 for parts and labor, and I was like wtf?? I can get the parts for 350, and am willing to pay a little for install, but not 750.
Any help would be great. Just let me know.
You can call me at 410-610-4074, or email at fox10488@yahoo.com
Thanks again

They're easy. One thing to watch out for when removing the diff. After you remove all the bolts securing it, it won't want to budge. Here's the trick, it sits on a ledge and needs to be lifted up before out. Once you've put the new one in place you don't even need to hold it. It sits on the ledge. You'll see when you do it.
Just thought I'd mention it because it gave us troubles initially until we figured it out.
Good luck!

He should be about 1 1/2 or 2 hours away. Depending on how bad traffic sucks. Don't ask me how I know...

I don't recall anything being hard to get to. I just remember not being able to get the thing out. Now it would be a piece of cake. You'll really be surprised just how easy it is after you finish it.

Like Manasas?? Like an hour and a half. Not too bad. If you know anyone, or you have done it before, please let me know. I am swapping my 3bolt plus pumpkin for my 4 bolt. Also, need to replace driveshaft supports. DSMkyle where in VA are you?
