So, I noticed that it's been quite a while since the last post about anyone in Minnesota (2002!). So I thought that I'd bring it up again. If you're from Minnesota, post up your name, whereabouts, e-mail, and phone number if you want it.

We should get a cruise or something lined up this summer. University avenue was already full of rides like 2 weekends ago when it was nice out.

That would be great. I have to get mine working again, swapping out the engine for one that works.

www.mitsustyle.com/forums is the MN/WI/IA and surrounding states forum... There is a cruise planned already for the 14th I believe.

Check it out. I'm from Winona.

Here.

Who's going up to LSE?

LSE? And curious, is there any room for a 4G37 in there? Heh.
I haven't gone cruising yet despite once with my friend in his Sentra and his friend in his EVO 8. Was a hell of a good time, though I think I'm a little out of my league both in performance and all out knowledge. Heh. Amateur motor head.

I bought a 5spd Talon TSi AWD at Wayzata Nissan last month (March '07). Its in rough shape but its coming together, slowly. I could certainly use some local experts to speed up the process...

Location: Eagan
Email: alfawulf2002@yahoo.com

I am new to DSMs. I'm not a mechanic, but the Talon is making me learn quickly. I used to be a professional car audio installer, so the electronics aren't much of a problem. I also know a few mechanics and a paint/body/fiberglass guy that does amazing work in exchange for beer. Let me know if I can be of service!

I'm not quite from Minnesota but right across the river. I bought my talon in Rosemount, MN. I live in Fargo, ND.

Anyone thinking about setting up a meet somewhere this winter or this spring? What location would be good for people? As I posted before, I'm in Elk River and I think that the farthest I would be able to afford would be Brooklyn Center (towards the Cities of course). St. Cloud at the opposite direction, and, well, nothing's really north of Elk River. But whatever.
Personally, Monday nights would be good for me. The only day off I have.:wtf:

They have a meet at Old Chicago in Plymouth, MN every tuesday night. Go to Mitsustyle.com for more details.

There is also a spring 2-day meet coming up where the plan is to road-trip to Wisconsin and stay at a hotel and drive back the next day. Should be a lot of fun.

I'm ready for it to get warm so I can get my car going. Blown headgasket:( . It will be nice to get it going because everyone revs up by me when I'm in my ricey focus and then they speed off like they thought I'd have a chance. I even had a turbo talon do it. :dunno: what they were thinking.

I just swapped my headgasket in my garage this last week and all I had was a little Knipco heater, you can do it!
