engine re-build in Chicago area

WOW this would have been easier if the Illiniois thread was still open(darn people that can't stay on topic lol)........

Ne-ways I need to re-build my engine after rod knock took over. I have NO clue were to go or even were to look. I got one friend sending me to a shop that does hondas:rolleyes: .

So if anyone can clue me in on were to go and all that would be GREAT.

Well why is that? Becasue they take along time?

They took along time for me, but I didnt mind becase they did a great job

No not that fact they took a long time. Long story short A local tuner brought his head over there to have it checked out and was told it was fine. Well it wasn't. It had bent valves.

Well I am in no means worried about how long it takes. I mean it would be nice to drive it this summer, but I would rather have it done good and right.

Well not to be a fan boy, but they are very swamped and there are tons of differet motors and heads in there, so they could have looked at somthing else instead of his and had a mix up...
