I know this region forum isn't very active, but I thought I'd say hi to the local DSMers. I just bought a 1998 Eclipse GSX from a guy in Virginia. Currently I am fixing minor things so that it will pass inspection within the next week. The picture is from my phone when I first got it home. The tint is now off, and I was sad to see it go because it was the best tint job I've seen.

My name is Travis, and I go to University of Maryland in College Park, but I live in Clarksville, when not in school.

I paid 8k for it. It has 120k miles, but the interior is in even better condition than the exterior. Im at school right now, finishing up with finals on wednesday. Ill try to take better quality pictures this weekend and put them up.

I paid 8k for my 1997 GSX in immaculate condition in 2004 with 70k miles. It was worth $9,995 when I bought it. Red, 5 speed, power seat, sunroof, all other options.

Maybe a little high for the mileage? 8K?

this summer it might stay stock because I need to get to work and save a little money. key word there is might, but we'll see. the guy i bought it from paid 10k for it only a year ago, and now he's in too much debt and is selling off his yamaha r6, this gsx, and his townhouse. from the cars i have gone and looked at, this was a good deal, and i need it for work and summer class starting next week.

Why did you have to strip the tint? Looks great tinted.

I had to take it off for inspection reasons. I also am getting tires in today and I have to replace the left front strut so it can pass.

Nice ride! I go to College Park as well and have my 1g there with me. Sometime next semester we should meet up for a little photoshoot.

Sweet car bro, looking good. I hate Maryland inspetions, whats wrong with the strut? Did you get it inspected in CP area? You should come to the cookout on the 24th of June at Sandy Point park .
