How do the splined hubs hold up? Do they warranty stripped hubs? :D

Jake, I honestly haven't heard of any problems with the hubs stripping out and I know of several people putting over 700 ft/lbs through them. I know you're looking to put a lot of power down but unsure of how much. Unless it's some absurd number I'm sure this clutch can hold it.

I'd like to place the order for these on the 27th of this month. They are in stock at PTT and will ship directly to you from there. Please get orders into me before then. Tons of people wanted them...call me up with any questions or to place your order. 215-997-6850
I was going to PM this but is there any way we can get the end date floated out to sometime in Aug.?

If anything, this is now a problem of the past. Quarter Master had issues at first with the hubs stripping out, but now updated their design, and I believe they're almost the same discs that PTT uses. I don't recall offhand what the fix exactly was (either stronger alloy or tighter tolerances) but it shouldn't happen anymore.
A few things to note when installing these clutches:
-Make sure the discs are installed with hubs facing the proper direction for your application.
-Make sure if there's a thinner hubbed disc, that that one goes towards the transmission
-Grinding down your clutch fork for clearing of the disc housing may be necessary--or so it was with the QM model at least.

I'd like to get this order in as soon as possible honestly, but if the masses need a little longer I'll do what I can. Is the first week in August long enough?
Thanks for the extension by the way.

When I order this, mine will be ordered with the ring gear and having it pressed on. Does PTT do this, or will they ship the clutch to you then you do it in house and ship it out to me then?

If you're getting a new ring gear and getting it installed, the clutch would first come to us and then getting shipped to you. We'll turn it around the same day we get it though.

I want to buy a PTT clutch for my '90 AWD before friday. My car has a Shepherd stage 4 fresh rebuild in it. My car was just dyno'ed at 624 wheel horsepower. Would I want the regular or heavy duty pressure plate? I am of course gonna get the metallic plates. Thanks!

From what I've read/heard, the high torque PP is a driveline breaker. The low torque PP will hold pretty much whatever you can throw at it yet it's easier on your driveline. Just from the feedback we've gotten from users of this clutch, i'm going to recommend the low torque PP.

Hey I was curious as to where I stand on getting my clutch shipped. So I can setup a date for my mechanic to install it.
Thanks,
