Alright well ive checked everything with my car, used a known working laptop and a brand new serial cable and still nothing. The only thing left is the adapter. DSMlink said it would take close to 2 weeks to get it to them, have it inspected/repaired and then sent back. All i need to do is load my tune because my friend disconnected the negative terminal on my car.
Oh yea, the problem is i keep getting the "IO Failed Command Timed Out" message no matter what.
So if there is anyone in new england willing to let me borrow their adapter for 5-10mins id be willing to pay you. Id either drive to you or meet you halfway. Im right outside of keene nh in troy nh. My zip is 03465 in case you want to figure out distance.
