Brent Bennyhoff
Coopersburg, PA

I've owned my 1991 Talon TSi AWD going on 8 years now and spent the entire last year rebuilding almost the entire car from inside out. If it hasn't been done yet, it's still on my list and most likely will be taken care of this coming year. The car has gone from my daily driver get-to-school ride, to a DD/Friday night track car, to a mostly drag strip/street-when-operable car, and to it's current roll of pocket book breaker. :P Owning this car has taught me many skills throughout the years including motor building, stand alone engine management, and welding/fabrication skills and I, nor the car, wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for it.

Current Mods include:

Self-built motor with Pauter rods, coated Wiseco pistons, o-ringed block
Head is an extensively ported 2g head, SI valves, Supertech spring kit, HKS 280's
JMF Drag Intake Mani
Custom self-built T4 top & front mount exhaust manifold
GT4294R turbo
Tial BOV & 44mm WG
3" IC piping
Custom 24x12x4 FMIC
4" Custom Stainless/Aluminum Exhaust
1600cc FIC injectors
Supra Pump & -08an feed line (not for much longer)
Aeromotive AFPR
JM Fab Oil & Coolant catch cans
JM Fab small battery kit
Jay Racing Alt relocation kit
Hallman Evo MBC
10pt custom roll cage
Corbeau driver's seat, custom slotted stock passenger seat
RCI 5pt harnesses
CNC Staging Brake
AEM EMS with AEM 5bar map and AEM ait
AEM Wideband
Autometer 60psi Blower Gauge
Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge
Ksport Coilovers
Kosei K1 Wheels w/Hoosier QTP rubbers
4 bolt rear
JnZ built transmission with TRE center diff spool
Quarter Master twin disc clutch
Franks Custom Fiberglass CF Hood
Nissan pewter metallic repaint--previously was champagne in color
Spray tinted head and tail lights
Shaved rear wiper and antenna holes
and a whole lot of extra little things too.

Up to date, the car has made 465 hp @ 23psi, 93 octane, and a 5* toe in un-aligned setup at the time. Since then and properly aligned, the car has only gotten about 3 clean passes at the dragstrip with insanely weak launching to be on the safe side yet still ran 125mph @ 11.7 on 21psi, 92/93 octane. Next year with the new fuel system and race gas tune I should be seeing significantly higher numbers out of her. Fingers crossed. :)

Sweeeeeeet! :D Thanks alot guys, and to all who voted for me. I'm glad that all of this hard work is starting to pay off and hopefully next year I can make some really really good numbers with the car.

To the guy who asked about where I got the Kosei's, I picked them up used a few years back from a guy in the tri-state area. I think a few wheel places may have them for sale, or you can also search for the Buddy Club knock offs.

Thanks did you get the rims that color. I have found white and silver but not in a dark color. I must say it again your car is so clean the work has paid off.

They are the original color. Supposed to have been a gun metal I thought, but it has more of an olive green hint to it than other gun metals I'm used to seeing.
