I've decided to rebuild my NT 4G63 6 bolt in some months with no less than OEM Mitsubishi quality turbo parts, minus the balance shafts. No less than OEM quality isn't saying much, but who knows how extreme I will take this build. I know the proposition to build a NT car for turbo is a losing battle, but as of now I have decided to do this. I am looking for someone around Winchester, Harrisonburg, Front Royal, or anyone in between that has assembled one of these engines to lead me in the right direction. I did some work on my previous engine (4G37 including timing belt, and head gasket with some help) but basically nothing to the 4G63 besides dropping it into my 94.
I don't have much prior experience when it comes to entire engine building (hell, I would love if someone would even show me proper timing belt installation on the 4G63) but I am far from knowing nothing. I would love to learn from a fellow DSMer who would be interested in showing this youngin some stuff about our cars. I wouldn't be able to pay much, but I'm not bad company ;).

Well I could help you out if you can't find anyone closer. I am in Williamsport, MD, about 45 minutes North of Winchester right off of I-81. I am pretty busy and I usually go $50/hr but I would be willing to help you out for less maybe. Just throwing it out there if it comes down to it and you really need some help.

I really appreciate your offer. I found a local guy with a fully built 92 AWD who has agreed to help me out if I need it. After doing some reading and research, I want to do this build with my own two hands. I'm not going to extreme considering this is going to be my first build, and I want to learn some things without ruining thousands of dollars in parts in the process.
I picked up a set of stock turbo cams with under 80k miles on them for 80$ from my friend, along with some good looking stock 6 bolt rods. I also got a stock SMIC with piping and a 14B that's in great shape VERY CHEAP. I also picked up new clevite bearings, arp everything, Mitsu MLS 4-Layer HG, OEM timing components, and a BS removal kit that is on its way.
I will have to post some pictures when I get the build underway, hopefully it wont be too much longer. I just can't afford to take my car out of the game for a few weeks right now.
