Might as well add this up in HURR!
It picked up "Bluemeanie" from a friend of mine in college and kind of stuck after that. This build is now 3 years in the making since acquiring a Jacks Trans and Twin disk earlier this month.

I made 1 pass this year, it's on vid i'll post it. The turbo pretty much let go and they kicked me off the track. It was a very shitty run that I managed to trap 122 by putting the car in 4th at the 8th mile.

I only made 1 full pass last year as a shakedown. I'm still sorting out issues one at a time on a budget.
I will say this: go to the track and run your car shifting 1k rpms over where you make full boost. Tell me what you run.
I was seeing 35psi by 5500 and had to shift at 6500 due to a bad misfire. Oh and just so we're even, tune your car to 9:1 afr and add another 10%.
Shoul be a good time.

Very nice car. I'm sure youll see 9s no problem next year. 2 quick questions. How did you do a dual walboro install in a 2G. Also, how much did you pay for your chromoly piping for you cage?
K_Mans_TSI
12-22-2007, 06:07 PM
I pay $6 a foot.
As for the pumps they are in a custom aluminum housing inside the stock tank. This works fine but it still leaks gas out around the pin connections in the power connector. Next year I think I'm switching to twin external Weldons.

Are you having tuning problems because of the huge injectors with the link? I never noticed they were frecking 1600's lol.
But kurt, I am doing a custom 3" o2 off my vband housing soon, was it a huge pain in the ass to get your right? I plan to use the U-bends from summit and like a band saw?
K_Mans_TSI
02-09-2008, 10:09 PM
The dead times are a bit off so the global settings are a bit wack. I reviewed the logs from my 12.4@122 run and I was pegging the wideband at 9:1 it took 10% to move it from 9.00:1 to 9.01:1.
I started playing with tuning at 20psi (35 in my 12.4 run) and that's when it destroyed my trans @ 10.75:1 afr.
We used 4" for my piping a combination of bends and straights.
I was told to expect the clutch assembly back from the machine shop this friday.
K_Mans_TSI
04-07-2008, 10:12 PM
I had a few missing parts show up today, still waiting on my piping to get made.
Also need to drill a bolt out of the motor before I put the trans back in, and I need to find a lower fuse box cover.

Lady is DominationChassis logo, it was not put there for people to like, it was put there to show gratitude for all the work Jay Cooper has put into the car. The exhaust, Roll cage, All the misc welding, the bumper mount, everything was done by him with help from myself.

No rattlecan here.
Duplicolor primer - $20 at Advance
Martin Senior (NAPA) colormatched paint - $20 for a PINT reduced
Tomorrow I up the total a little bit with the clear, $60 got me enough to do a car, so I'll probably use about $10 worth of it.

Why are you not racing? Just because of the fact that you are so far away, or are you not close enough to being done yet?

He might have competition cause I have entered! :D Still waiting to see it. And most of you know I'm a perfectionist and love the stock look but also a killer on the street.
K mans TSI,
You did a good job on the paint! IMO looks 1 million times better than what it did look like when you started this thread with the finished look.

Things have been hectic at work, so I haven't had much "surfing time". I still have yet to review any of the entries that are waiting for me. :(
Maybe I can get it in during lunch today.

All I can say is WOW! Your car is looking fantastic! It has come a long way! NICE JOB!
Did you ever get that tachometer to work? If so, what did it turn out to be?
See ya at the shootout!

James, you're going to have another one coming your way here in a few min when I get everything done to submit.
As for the tach, it still doesn't work. Funny thing is I misplaced that part I got off you last year. I'll figure something out, priorities lolz.

It's not ready, I am just fitting everything.
I really didn't like the crooked ARC-2 mounting plate they give you. I drilled another hole and used a spacer.
