How much boost can i run safely if i were to put on a t-28. What can the motor withstand without pushing its limits and having the supporting mods. Because i know the 4g63 does not have forged internals and i want to do it right the first time so i dont have to rebuild later.

With supporting mods including a FMIC you can max that turbo out on a stock block. Around 20 lbs without sacrificing efficiency on 93 octane.

Why do people keep asking these questions and even more importantly why do people upgrade their turbo without supporting mods first. Every car is dif and the only way to tell if its safe is to log/wideband it or dyno tune it. Short of doing that you are putting your engine at risk. Do it right the 1st time includes getting the supporting mods 1st.

Locked because Im not going to encourage bench tuning. :wall:
