Because we want to keep contributing to the community that has been such a huge part of our growth, we've developed yet another lineup of intercooler kits for the 2G DSM :thumb:
These are designed with high horsepower in mind with 26" wide, 12" height and 3", 3.5", 4" or 5" thick intercoolers OMG With inlet location at the bottom of the core and outlet at top, distribution of airflow throughout the core is phenominal. The kit does require minor trimming of the core support, but the benefit is an incredibly short route UICP. Looking at the picture I still can't believe that those three short pieces is the complete piping kit!

Will this kit fit with the stock fog lights on a 97-99 Eclipse?

I doubt it, it looks identical to an SSAC fmic kit and they don't allow foglights.

Very nice looking kit. I'd LOVE to see a short route kit like this with cast end tanks. Uber nice none the less.

Looks just like the slowboy/kinetic set up...
It works and allows for really short piping..``

One of the sacrifices of going with this kit is the fog lights as no they cannot be retained. Our 2G short route kits still require zero cutting AND retain the fog lights on 2Gb cars :)

Our 1G short route kits already have both outlet AND inlet facing the engine bay for the shortest possible piping :)

Tom,
Is getting cast end tanks an option or something that may happen in the future? I short route unit with those cast end tanks would just be a killer combo I would think.

Wish they offered this kit before I bought my Apexi skyline delta wedge intercooler. I always liked ETS core design, but not the end tanks, these new tanks help flow through the entire intercooler, plus the size options are great.

That is true. I didn't see the 3" kit when I looked at it the frist time. Thanks for pointing that out.

Sorry, I am very new to this forum as well as to DSM's completely so I have what may be a rather stupid question. I just bought a completely stock 95 Talon TSi AWD and am looking for a FMIC to run.
Now, when I went to the order form on your site I got slightly confused- are you including a BOV with the kit (let's say I select the HKS option), or are you just having the piping set up for the BOV?
Please PM me with more information as I will be ordering parts from you quite soon. Thanks!

The HKS option is for the flange for your Blow off valve. As for the FMIC, if you are running a T-25 it will be over kill for your turbo, if I recall correctly.

Sorry, I misread the form the first time. I see that it's the flange. Pardon my stupidity!

Kevin,
Pattern costs to do a cast endtank are SO high that we'd need to pick only one of the sizes to cast, and at that be 100% confident that we'd sell a TON of that kit. I don't see that being feasible on this kit but we'll see where the sales go :)
Super nice man! What is the price gonna be around? (Looking now...)
The 3" kits are $895 and only $50 more for 1/2" thickness increases from there :)
It runs 995.00 for the basic kit. Add more for larger core ECT...
The 4" kit is $995 and the smaller units are even less :D
Do you guys do just the cores? I'd love to upgrade to a 4" core.
We can do that for you! Pricing would be $645 for the intercooler only
It's $895 for the 3" kit.
;) Thanks for the help!

We agree that the flow and airflow distribution characteristics through this core will be phenominal.

Feel free to PM or call me to discuss the options so we can be sure you have all the information you need to make a decision. I remember what it's like to be the new guy so don't hesitate to call for info!

I have the previous race kit version. If I wanted to "upgrade" to this new core, would I have to replacing all the piping too?

Yes this kit uses completely different piping as well as intercooler design than our pre-existing kits. If you or anyone else who has already purchased one of our intercooler kits wants to switch to this configuration I will offer a discount for returning customers :)
