Killed my R6.

When I was putting my car in storage, I drove it to Cleveland, so the pickup was easier. This is back in October, and my friend was driving my R6 next to me. I heard him click down two gears, so I down shifted - why not you know? We were on the highway, at 3AM, it was nice out... so I was hoping that I would get traction, and not get beat by my friend riding my 2007 R6.

I hear the end of the cute little beep that came from the bike, and I let go of the break, I was break boosting too ;D Barely though, I was running race gas, to get it all out of out of the car before it went into storage.

33 PSI hits the boost gauge almost instantly, coming out of second. No traction, throw it into third, no traction. By this time, my bike is easily 4 cars ahead. Then Fourth it bounces off the rev limiter for a second, and catches. Then I pass my bike like it was standing still, once I caught it. I shut down at 150ish. I won against my bike, made me abit happy.

Would have slaughted it more, if I would have drag radials.

My mods:
1995 TSi FWD.
Built 6bolt Longblock.
Shep tranny and Kaz Dif.
GT-35R w/Shearer T3 equal length SS Manifold.
Open DP.
DSM Link.

600's arent that fast from a roll. I have a R6 myself and love it. Damn good in the twisties.

Looks like a sick car but with all those traction problems, an AWD shell might not be a bad idea;)

Yeah, I have a few. I did alot of paint work to the bike, and had some red outlining tape - so I put it on the bike!

I'm actually selling the car - has 18s on it now, tinted windows, and blacked out tail lights - I will have to get pictures of it when its not 29 degrees outside. Plus, it won't start because its so cold!

I'm stuck on the new 2008 ZX10s.

Yeah, with warm slicks, you will see traction in 2/3.

I have a very large pair of Hoosiers, though. Haha.

I had a 96 mitsubishi Eclipse FWD with an FP3065 tired of having no traction converted it to AWD worth it.

Nice kill and not sure whoever said R6s are slow? They do anywhere from low 120's to mid 130's from what I have seen. Mostly in the mid-high 120's. I never got a chance to play with one. They are vulnerable with a decently modded DSM though. ;)

There not bad from a roll just cant start a race from 60mph or above i have a 05 R6 and i would prolly go from a 40mph punch. but i dont do alot racing on streets just do trackdays now. want to get my talon out on the road course one time to play.
