Wednesday and Friday are grudge nights and on the weekend they have more major events. Grudge nights are $10 to watch and $20 to race. Gates open at 5:30 and run from 6:00 to 10:00.

This'll be my second year out at KCIR. I love the scene out there...some really nice cars show up!

20 days away, I dont see why not.

I am not going to make it to the meet on the 10th so I am going to focus on the track instead. Earliest the bearings will be shipped is tomorrow, so between Monday and Wensday I will receive them, no way to get the car done in time for the meet. So yeah, Ill be there as long as the car holds up.

I have a ton of things to do, like break in and tune the car but hell, Ill be ready to rock.

Oh yeah and a number of people from Tuners are going to be there as well, looking at about 10 DSM's.

How packed is it and how many runs do you usually get in? Kind of sucks, 4 hours or so of fun for a 1 1/2 hour drive there and another 1 1/2 back, possibly on a flatbed.

I got 3 run ins down the track when I went, and I arrived an hour late. Didn't see any other DSMs there, but saw quite a few Evos, couple supras, and several turbo Hondas. It was fairly packed, but I still got my 3 runs down so I was happy.

Nah, come stay at my house for one night and leave in the morning. Don't make it an all day thing.

I no longer have a roommate (as you already know), so come stay and hang out for a night.

I don't know if KCIR has a limit or not. I was able to get in 3 runs, probably 1-2 more if I would have showed up right as she opened.

You know what I hate about Missouri? Well, one thing I hate, the number of fucking counties you guys have.

I used to live in San Bernardino County, in the southern part of the state, the only other county that really mattered was Riverside, which I was bordering. LA, SD and Orange rarely came into play unless I went to the beach, Imperial was crap, dont think I ever went there. and I was born in Santa Barbra.

Missouri on the other hand, each block is basically its own county hehe.

Might be better off heading straight out. Its a lot quicker that way for you. I am hoping all goes well and no breakage goes on. Ill be loading the car with my tools and parts just in case :D

Hey whats up. Well, my car made it home hehe. My best was a 14.03 @95 after hitting the rev limiter on the 3-4 shift. I think my boost controller was the problem, has to be. Ill switch to my other one off my 95 and see if that fixes the problem.

Was his car drivable after words? I hope so.

Yea, the oil filter gasket decided to take a dump. How often does that happen? We just put a new filter on it, sprayed some brake clean to clean it up and it's all good!

I had one back out, its because of the vibration. I check mine every once in a while. One of the reasons why I let my car cool so I can check the filter.

At least he was able to drive it home, thats good, glad to see that he was not punished for ruining half the track and over a hour of our lives :P

The Mclaren SLR finally got to run at about 9:30. After talking to him for a bit, I found out that it was his first time racing that car. With a crappy launch he ran an 11.9.
Jason, that deep blue station wagon that I asked if I just saw lift off the line; well when I was leaving it lifted the front tires a good 4 feet off the ground and ran in the low 9's.

I started working on Dustins car around 6:30am yesterday so he could get home to family for the holidays and then rolled out a hour and a half away to do a trans swap on a guys car and didnt get home until 7am this morning. I worked on the trans job for 17 straight hours because of tons of problems with the car, it was being a DSM. His car is running like a dream now though hehe, made it worth it.

I am working on the car right now, got the alt in, retorqued down my ARP's, changed the oil, just getting the piping on and going to boost leak test then roll out to Warrensburg and grab me some new vans as mine are old and dirty, I nicknamed them Steve.

I will get the video up tonight when I am watching my shows, it will give me down time to upload them.

Looks like my oil feed line is leaking so I am going to go price getting a new one, I should be fine with it as it is right now, it will just make a little mess under the car that I will have to clean up. Got the other boost controller on the car so I will be setting up my boost and getting some E-85 in the car while I am in Warrensburg, if its near the skate shop for my shoes.

LoL...I think I'm going to have to order a new float now that I have a fitting that moves on the metal fuel line :rolleyes: :P

Found a boost leak, there is my boost problem, need to let the car cool so I can fix it. Took it out for a spin, man the car was getting stared down with no front bumper, even had a old model supra do a U turn to check my car out at the gas station when I was filling up with $4.10 a gallon 92 oct.

I will be heading back out this Friday I think. Going to go get shoes tomorrow and fill up the tank with some E-85 to get the octane up for my 11 second run in a few days hehe.

I would like to go tomorrow but funds dont allow it. I still need to buy my clear timing cover and some new rotors to help finish up the car some more. Next major thing is paint job heh. The car is coming along, I have a whole bunch of new interior pieces I have yet to put on the car because I want to pull the carpet and get that all steam cleaned, get some new leather for the passenger seat since my cat decided she liked to work her claws on it and I never noticed.

Thanks for the compliments, shes my pride and joy and all the wrenching has been done by yours truly. But like all girls, she has her little flaws that need to be worked on, shes a little bitchy now and then.

Of course I would pick the worst time to move away from KC. Never ever have I seen that many DSM's @ KCIR. I miss home .=(

The oil filter backed out...that sucked. We were only able to get one more run in after that happened.
