Newbie and total newb to DSM

Hey everyone! I jsut wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself.. Evidently I'm the "New kid on the block"... Not only am I new to the forums, but I'm also new to DSMs too.. Currently in my car arsenal I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T thats currently not running (blah!).. I also have a 1995 Toyota Supra parked in the same garage..

If anyone's near Lebanon, and is feeling the itch to tinker with the DSM, I think my slave cylinder is out, I'd greatly appreciate it.. I learn visually and would love to have someone help me fix whatever is wrong..

Thank you.. I use to have 2 Supras.. a 1993.5 and a 1995 (both the MKIV aka last generation Supras)..Here is a picture of my old Supra that I sold..

I've always loved them. I was looking for one when my Laser Panda fell into my lap. I couldn't turn down my old roomy when he told me that he was selling her. I knew how much he put into the engine alone when he rebuilt it.

They are still very rare to pick up... I just have really really good connections.. I bought the white Supra from a guy that works with my dad for $11,500 (In that condition..nothing was done to that car except I had to wax it again in March)... I bought the black Supra for 20K from a former realtor of my family.. So, basically for $36,900 I got the 2 Supras and the Spyder



Here is the kicker, Kitty.... My master cylinder looks brand new.. the whole clutch kit was replaced and the master cylinder but not the slave.. I might just replace both to be safe..

Yes French, I do work on my cars in my shop.. I am new to DSMs, so I'm very unfamiliar.. The first picture with both my cars in it is my garage.. I have a totally separate shop.. I am actually replacing my slave cylinder tonight to see if that fixes my Eclipse.. if not, I will probably have to have someone close to me supervise me in replacing the clutch (if its bad).. I'm not this girl who drives cars around and knows nothing about them.. I like to dig my hands into those cars.. I'm not afraid of breaking nails, getting covered in oil or scraping my knuckles..

The black supra was a TT... I sold it because the turbos were failing, and the tranmission was going out.. It had about 130,000 miles on it when I bought it.. It would prove cheaper for me to turbo the white one than to fix the black one.. Plus, the white Supra has sentimental value to me..

White cars > black cars.

Supras are gettign rare since they quit making them awhile ago and it's easy to bump up their RWHP. That leads to a ton of them in salvage yards thanks to people who can't control their rides.

Must be nice. Those cars are somthing else, very good taste. I wish I had a MKIV sitting next to my GSX :( Welcome aboard, and since eveyone else is trying to be humble I'll ask. Lets see who drives and works on these cars ;)

No I havent put in the slave cylinder to see if that will work.. We had some assholes call today at like 8am wanting to see my house (its for sale) midday today.. So I was too busy cleaning the house today.. Will pop it in tomorrow morning to find out if that fixes it..If not, its time to order a clutch and a man to help instruct me to replace it
