What much of Modification do I need to do? And how much would it cost? Hope I can get some help I know you guys can sure help.

well i think you'd have to buy a turbo motor and transmission, i think there is a difference in how much power the NT and T trans missions can handle.

so it should be no problem to drop in a Turbo 5 speed and turbo motor. the difficulties in going from NA to turbo with the ecu might be a problem, perhaps not.

personally i wouldn't buy this one since your paying 1000+ or so for the NT 1500+ for a rebuilt turbo engine 500+ for a turbo 5speed trans and any other "parts" you may need to get it to work, or you can pick up a 1G turbo (FWD/AWD) DSM for cheaper than that if you look. in my neck of the woods (MAINE) you can find early 1G turbo's for 800-3000.

In your neck of the woods? I'm in upstate NY. I'm in the mood for a 1g Turbo AWD. I can do body work piece of cake, and everything else is annoying but doable. Anything around there for cheap? (Salvage or clean title dosent matter, it's all the cost of the car)

i dont know how much you plan to buy this car for. but i have purchased 3 1G awd's for under 1000. 2 of them running. 1-91 and 2-90's one of them AT.

its just not worth the hassle. you'd put a lot of money and time into it to do the swap. you might as well just find a turbo 5-speed to begin with.
you would need to buy a tranny, shift cables, shifter, clutch pedal assy, master cylinder, slave cylinder, ECU, wire harness, clutch, flywheel, axles, and most important of all; your LABOR.

and then to turbo it: turbo motor, turbo, downpipe, exhaust (if stock NT catback doesnt bolt to a turbo DP), different cooling lines, waterpipes, cam angle, manifolds, TB, coil pack, oil lines, probably a bunch of things that slipped my mind as well.

and a bottle of Motrin for the headaches you will have!!!

besides the fact that the turbo models look better, and i believe have much better suspension.

Thanks alot Guys I was looking at a Laser for $1,200 I was going to offer him $780 but he had the Block Replaced beacuse he REALLY overheated it (Like a Dumbass) So he said NEW rings were put in and Block he also said a Valve job was done and Just from MY experience with Rebuilding engines Once the Block is open you might as well check other things for Fault.....When I test drove it It Fucking Felt like he had a 16G instead of the T25 (If they put those on those year Cars "1991")

Thanks alot guys You were a HUGE help.
