Main thread with all the info is here: http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200190&highlight=maximal
I think that thread pretty much covers everything actually. First 10 will get these at the $130 shipped price. I will start shipping after we get 5. After 10 they'll go up to $145 which I still think is rather fair. You can send payment now or after we get the 5. Paypal is Terry@maximalperformance.com. Let me know if you have any questions.

I am currently unable to afford any right now but info is always nice.
Are these only good on 1g or do you make them for 2g's as well?

1G right now. If someone would want to take some measurements of a 2G they might be the same or easy to make a set for.

Well it looks like I need to get working on the 2g ones.
If anyone wanted to take some measurements for me and test fit them you'd get a free set. Shoot me a PM.

How about someone send you a 2g arm so you can make exact measurements.

Yeah, I would be more trusting of that than someone taking measurements at home and reporting them to you.

It actually worked out fairly well for the 1st gen ones. However they were pretty similar to the 3S ones so it wasn't really difficult to make them work.

Yes the 1g ones almost mirrored the 3s arms other than in length. I did just basic measurements and everything fit spot one. In terms of length I have tons of adjustment both ways. Terry Im glad everything went through and you became a vendor, works out good for the entire community.

Can you make these?

Thanks for the help again Jason. Sold a few of these sets already and looks like there's more interest for not only 2g arms but other products as well.

Should be able to as it doesn't look too difficult. I'm assuming that just replaces a stock part? I'd just need some measurements from it...have the lathe and everything to do it.

9 more left at this price (after yours). Doesn't seem to be a huge rush in the group buy so I'll just ship these as the order's come in.

I already have a set of ingals arms but am not happy about the boots over the ball joints. Have you been using these on the 3S for a while? How do the boots and ball joints hold up with daily driving? Can the boots be replaced or do you need to replace the whole joint?

Never heard a complaint with the tie rod end. If you have an issue with the boot let me know and I can probably get you a replacement for them. Been selling these to 3S owners for a few years so there are some that have been out there for a while so I don't think you'll have an issue.

Got mine today and put them on. First of all Terry's communication was excellent, second the kit is very nice and everything fits tight. The inner washers that replace the centric washers fit tight in the old centric washer hole and the ball joint fits tight like oem. All parts are grade 8 and the inner bolt appears to be stainless steel grade 8.
One thing I personally would've like to seen is a nut welded to the ends of the tubing so you can hold it better when tightening the lock nuts. Is there a reason you do not do this, I am far from being a designer/fabricator and was just curious?
I will post back whenever I get it aligned and get a few passes on them.
Great work,
Jason

The nuts on the end is something I can look into and see how feasible it is.

I aligned the car today and as mentioned above everything worked/fit well, however a welded nut on both ends of the tube would make alignment 10x's easier. In my experience you can only loosen the nuts by putting pliers on the tube to keep it from spinning since the nuts do not oppose in direction. Either way these allowed alot of extra adjustment.
Thanks again and hopefully I can hit the track asap.

Finally hit the track and these allowed the adjustments I needed to get the car to go. Granted I launched soft 1.63-1.70 60's but they worked great for multiple low 10 second passes and one 9.89 @ 146mph pass.
Thanks for the product!!

I hate to bump an old thread being a noob to this site but, I googled 2g control arms and this is the only thing that came up. On that note and idea when the 2g arms might be ready for sale?

By using these arms without any camber kit can you set the camber to 0 degrees?

What's with all the 2g guys wanting these arms? 2g's have a completely different suspension setup. The upper control arm is bent up like a pretzel, metaphorically speaking. It would be pointless/worthless to recreate them. You want a camber kit? Go buy washers.
I'm assuming the group buy is over. But how would the hind joints fair with daily driving in new england? I'm talking sand, salt, seman, water and mud.

They hold up fairly well to the weather. I've had them on a 3S DD through a couple winters and never any issues of them. I just made sure they were greased up pretty well to help with it. I haven't heard of any complaints for anyone either.
Group buy is over however I'm still selling them on my site for not all that much more: http://www.maximalperformance.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=115
