ok so I know this is the advanced post and I am not advance but I think my problem is. I got my vpc installed about two months ago and they could not get the eng light to turn off. 1 month later my idle started to go up and down while rolling out of gear. 2 weeks ago it started doing it even when idle. I take the car to a mitsu dealership and the head machanic says the ecu is bad and wants me to put in a haltec and take it to his shop because the mitsu shop wont let him work on a modded car. well I am taking it back to the shop this friday who installed the vpc and am having them look at it. I told them I thought it was the idle motor that is what I had replaced before when this happened. I told them that before mitsu said it was the ecu. I just would like some opionons If you guys think I am getting dicked around

What? You think that a dealer is trying to screw you over? How dare you think such a thing?...That would NEVER happen. Especially not from the ever-so-reliable Mitsubishi dealers.

Ahhh....nice to see that Mitsubishi is still capable of turning $0.50 problems into $400+ problems. I was afraid that they lost their touch.
It's good to see that you won't have to shell out hundreds of dollars for this...
