Thank you. For those of you who don't know who we are, we're a tuning products company. Our main line is the Megasquirt EFI system, but we also sell Innovate widebands, EGT probes, and many other tuning products.

Thanks for the intro. Hopefully we can help demystify the ways of MegaSquirt for anyone that's looked into a bit and needs to clear things up some yet. As well as assist with other aspects of your projects with wideband/EGT tuning tools and advice.

We've got a tech article online for you 4G63 guys actually. It covers the most critical bits of building a DIY MS-1 for use with the 4G63, or we can build one to spec for you ready to wire up. Here's a link:

We'll be out lurking on the forums looking for opportunities to chime in an assist with EMS/wideband/tuning related issues/questions. Justin and Matt are our 2 full-time tech support guys that you'll see around the most probably. Anything we can do to help you guys out, just let us know. You can always reach us at websales@diyautotune.com

ABOUT time I use MS2 on my 420a :)

420a's with MegaSquirt-I and II are well documented also... we haven't built our own article up on that but that's just because there was already one in the main documentation:

MS1 Extra for 420A: http://www.msextra.com/manuals/MS_Extra_Ignition_Hardware_Manual.htm#neon

MS2 Extra for 420A: http://www.msextra.com/ms2extra/MS2-Extra_Neon.htm

Keep in mind the MSExtra guides will be a bit more 'technically oriented' than our somewhat more 'just do this step 1,2,3' no nonsense guides. But all the info is there and it's good stuff. Take a look at these and let me know what you think, if you think it needs to be simplified a bit let us know and we'll see if there's something we can do.

Are you running it with a 36-1 wheel, or MS2/Extra with the stock crank wheel?

Welcome Matt (and the rest of the DIY family). I've actually have looked to you guys for several of the MS applications I have worked on. In fact, I may have spoken to you a couple of years ago about making a PnP DSM MS kit.

Regardless, Welcome aboard!

It is very easy to tune you just need to have a little knowledge on it from reading on the forums.

Just figured I'd stop in to say hello. I'm the other tech guy here, although I don't get a lot of time to spend on the forums, I'll be here when I can.
