Black94DSM 11-07-2008, 02:45 PM Holy crap thats expensive for just radiator brakets! To each his own.
The_EE 11-07-2008, 02:52 PM If only, if only someplace made a bracket that fits a 2g but is wide enough for a 1g radiator.
96CFGST 11-07-2008, 03:11 PM Looks sweet. Money is better spent elsewhere. I still want em.
ApexImprt2nR 11-07-2008, 03:25 PM Beautiful pieces. I would definitely buy them if I had extra cash laying around.
Gamble 11-07-2008, 03:41 PM I have hayame ones, w00t for being original.
eviltsi 11-07-2008, 05:47 PM Great piece for sure!!!
empie1 11-08-2008, 07:19 AM 80$??? What a fuckin joke.
TrboANTsi 11-08-2008, 10:50 AM Word, I have the Hayame and its chrome for about $50. Too bad they dont make em anymore, those are still nice pieces though.
Emery@stm 11-08-2008, 10:53 AM 80$??? What a fuckin joke.
Its to bad you feel that way. Unfortunately that is what they cost us to make these and the price will eventually go up unless we find a cheaper machine shop... I personally like them and bought a set for our 2g. I understand that 80.00 is a big investment for alot of people and I would rather see them use there money where it is better fit.
Although sometimes this type of response is what makes companies not want to produce and design new products for these cars, We will push on for those who are actually interested...
Thanks

Marq97GSX 11-08-2008, 10:59 AM Been waiting for these. They look nice!
ryan93talon 11-08-2008, 11:14 AM 80$??? What a fuckin joke.$80 is nothing.

Im well aware of supply and demand rules.I highly doubt your paying a machine shop 80$ each set.If thats the case, how are you making a profit? lol...Either way, my point is, 80$ for pointless mods is a joke. They look nice, minus the stm advertisement. We all have opinions. Good luck selling them (not being sarcastic).

You hit the nail on the head (STM LOGO), Thats where we make money in the long run. Its free advertising. And yes they do cost 80.00 a set to make. These are done on a 3D program and to make 6 sets its is about 36 hours of machine time.
Thanks

The_EE 11-08-2008, 05:16 PM Can you make brackets that bolt onto a 2g but would hold a 1g radiator, the spaces on them are different.
A 2g radiator wont work with my setup as the radiator line is too close to the manifold.
Photos coming in a second of what I mean.
The_EE 11-08-2008, 05:23 PM Here is how it looks with a 1g radiator on a 2g, the brackets are a little farther in instead of out.. lol.. memory failed me. You can see what I mean on the left radiator mount bracket.

Emery@stm 11-08-2008, 06:42 PM Sorry we cant. It would be waaayyy to expensive to have the program wrote for one set.

All you would need to do is ask the machine shop not to cut the bolt holes and sell them that way. Then the end user can place the holes anywhere they want.

That would be easy if it were not in the middle of the front side program. The holes are cut at the same time as the front of the part.

IggyBcool 11-27-2008, 10:50 AM Well there was my problem. I had a 1g radiator on my car............ EE what manifold is that?
The_EE 11-27-2008, 10:53 AM Punishment Racing, DSM Flanged Stainless Steel Tubular ( no longer made ).
Audioxtremes 11-28-2008, 08:19 PM Not to be rude but whoever is telling you it takes 6 hours to make that has terrible skills, or is using some old ass cnc. The machines next door would turn that part out 20 an hour.
tmonttt 11-28-2008, 08:53 PM i would like to get a set for my 2g
Emery@stm 12-02-2008, 07:04 PM More of these are on the way! Get them while you can.

Just added those to cart to see what the price is. They are not bad at all for 40.00 shipped. The price they have is each one. There is two to a set. Again not a bad price at all...

Sebba 12-04-2008, 02:02 PM I wish I had access to the old CNC machine....
harry99GSX 12-04-2008, 04:46 PM I kind of doubt that place above ^^^^^^ even has the Hayame brackets in stock.
Most places that still have them listed on there website don't actually have them in stock though.
I would love for a place to just make a PLAIN CNC'ed aluminum radiator bracket. NO names, lettering, etc.
eder-loco 12-06-2008, 10:23 AM Holy crap thats expensive for just radiator brakets! To each his own.
werd, just what i was thinking
K_Mans_TSI 12-06-2008, 10:55 AM I'd buy a set without bolt holes as well, I'd hate to have to hack up a nice 80 dollar set.

I hereby stand corrected my friend. :)
Definitely a GREAT find on your part.
Generally the Hayame brackets are harder to find................... But not only did you score a set, You got them at an awesome price.
