I personally like them and bought a set for our 2g. I understand that 80.00 is a big investment for alot of people and I would rather see them use there money where it is better fit.

Although sometimes this type of response is what makes companies not want to produce and design new products for these cars, We will push on for those who are actually interested...

You hit the nail on the head (STM LOGO), Thats where we make money in the long run. Its free advertising. And yes they do cost 80.00 a set to make. These are done on a 3D program and to make 6 sets its is about 36 hours of machine time.

Can you make brackets that bolt onto a 2g but would hold a 1g radiator, the spaces on them are different.

A 2g radiator wont work with my setup as the radiator line is too close to the manifold.

Here is how it looks with a 1g radiator on a 2g, the brackets are a little farther in instead of out.. lol.. memory failed me. You can see what I mean on the left radiator mount bracket.

All you would need to do is ask the machine shop not to cut the bolt holes and sell them that way. Then the end user can place the holes anywhere they want.

That would be easy if it were not in the middle of the front side program. The holes are cut at the same time as the front of the part.

Well there was my problem. I had a 1g radiator on my car............ EE what manifold is that?

Punishment Racing, DSM Flanged Stainless Steel Tubular ( no longer made ).

Not to be rude but whoever is telling you it takes 6 hours to make that has terrible skills, or is using some old ass cnc. The machines next door would turn that part out 20 an hour.

Generally the Hayame brackets are harder to find................... But not only did you score a set, You got them at an awesome price.
