I'm putting the finishing touches on our "economy" fuel pump rewire kit. This kit is designed to give you the most bang for your buck on a stock or mildly modded dsm. Great for rewiring stock fuel pump, Walbro 190, 255, ect. Hardcore people looking to squeeze every HP out of their DSM, running the Walbro 255 full out, 2 255's, Denso supra pump, & bigger pumps will be better served by our "premium kit" which is still in development.

The economy kit uses:
17 ft of 12 awg premium copper wire to attach to the battery
A 30 amp ATC style fuse so that if you blow it, its easily replaceable
A 30/40 amp automotive relay
5 ft of 1/4" black split loom tubing
Quality automotive style 12 awg crimp connectors
3 ft of 12 awg premium copper wire (black) for ground
5 ft of 18 awg wire to trigger the relay,
5 ft of 18 awg wire to go from the relay to power the fuel pump
5 ft of 18 awg wire to run the ground for the fuel pump to the relay
2 self taping 1/2" screws one to mount the relay, one to ground the unit
1 start washer to ground the unit.
Relay covered in heat shrink to protect it

All of the crimp connections are made with Klein style cripmers to ensure they are crimped right.

The connection to the battery, the fuse holder and the connections to the relay will be coated in dielectric grease to help curb any corrosion.

Testing on braydo's MR2 showed stock fuel pump voltage as low as 11.99 volts at the pump connector at wot (with the max reading being 13.5v). After rewiring with the 12 awg kit, the voltage at the fuel pump connector showed 14.4v stead at WOT. This was using a Walbro 255.

Here are some pics of our econmy kit in the "testing" phase.

Projected introductory price of 24.99 plus shipping & handling.

This kit was designed by myself, I am a MECP certified silver level car audio installer with 4 years of retail experience putting together this sort of stuff.

20 shipped? :D Just kidding...

When do you think the 'premium kit' be available?

About another 2 weeks or so. Still trying to track down a decent supplier for the 40/50a relay I would like to use.
