Alright Everyone!
It's that time of year again!
Between christmas gifts and the holidays going on, right around the corner, everyone is going to be getting some new goodies. Well here is the perfect time to show it off!

Last years turnout was great with a count of 35+ cars.
I'm shooting to beat that, or atleast come close to last year.

Who: DSM/GVR4/Evo/and now 3000GT/Stealths!
Where: Old Mervyns parking lot
When: 12PM Noon - SHARP!
Why: Give us PNW guys a chance to gather around and see everyones new toys!

My idea for this year, is to meet up at the old Mervyns parking lot, as last year we were kicked out of the Alderwood mall. The big vacant lot will also give us a good oppertunity to situate the cars as we chosse, to take some good pictures.

At 1PM after giving all the people a chance to get there, we will head across the street to Red Robin. I will be calling a week in advance for reservations and a heads up so they know we are going over there. This is a perfect chance to have us guys all get together and chat a little more and get some food for lunch.
*NOTE* Lunch reservations will be set at 1PM so be there on time!

My last idea I have for the day long event is cruising down to Pina Motorsports in Kent for a Dyno Day!
This is still UP IN THE AIR, as I need to contact Andre to plan for this event and get prices started for it as well. We will need a certain number of cars in order to obtain a great deal on the dyno, so make sure you let me know, not only are you attending the event, but Dynoing you car or not.

As I stated last year:

Things Needed:
*Bring Video Cameras, Cameras, extra batteries! -- We need lots of pictures to let all the local people who havn't made it out yet to see what has been going on, and also allowing us to have multiple pictures of everyones cars including their own.:thumb:

*Tools! You drive a DSM, you should always have something!:beatentodeath:

*A good attitude. Noone is better than anyone, we're all there for a good time, don't act like a jackazz thinking your cool or better than anyone else!:nono:

Lastly, if you decide to bring someone, or be in someone elses car that is NOT a DSM, make sure they know the rules, and need to be respectful. This is a DSM meet, not a chance for them to showoff or have a chance to proove anything, we DON'T CARE!:boring:

REMINDER
The bigger this thing gets, the more attention we will have, I would not want to get authorities involved because of the size and number of idiots acting like ass-hats. I just want a reminder to everone else, no revving, burning out, launches or ANYTHING of that sort at Mervyns. The cars will be loud enough attracting unwanted attention, I don't want security coming to us and kicking us out for idiots that can't behave themselves. If there are people misbehaving and acting like 16 year olds again, you will be asked to leave.

Last year was great, lets make this even better.
This has turned into an annual event now, by popular demand:thumb:

My idea for this year, is to meet up at the LYNNWOOD HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT, as last year we were kicked out of the Alderwood mall. The big vacant lot will also give us a good oppertunity to situate the cars as we choose, to take some good pictures. The school parking lot is about 1/8 mile from the mervyns parking lot on the same street, directly across from Nordstroms, you can't miss their foorball/soccer field. They will have a nice open lot on a sunday, I remember going over there one time for some snow fun a couple years back. PM me for questions or directions.

At 1PM after giving all the people a chance to get there, we will head across the street to Red Robin. Zak, Have you talked to pina about the dyno situation yet? Are we going to do the dyno day? How much will it cost each of us? 3 pulls? Let me know, if for some reason it doesn't work out I can get ahold of Brian and John (owners of trackforged) www.trackforged.com and see if we can get a deal on a dyno, they are really cool guys. They are just over the bridge in oregon, I live in Vancouver and its only a 15 minute drive. Let me know. Also is this rain or shine?

DSM_Zak
12-31-2008, 08:44 AM
Rain or Shine, I dont have enough people for the Dyno yet, only like 3 people are interested. If that's the case, I wont even bother driving to PINA. I know Andre will probably want like 10 cars atleast for the Dyno.

Fuck, I just remembered that it's my gf's birthday that day. Pull me off the "count me in" list, as this meet would take my WHOLE day since it will take me atleast 3.5 hrs to drive up there from oregon, and that long to drive back, I have to spend the day with her. I wish it wasn't soo far away, just double checking, Lynwood is north of renton and seattle right?

DSM_Zak
01-07-2009, 03:53 PM
Yes, its north
