EvoX Ralliart Tail Lights

Not sure how many guys on here have seen these but we just got done installing some Ralliart tail lights in our shop EvoX to see for ourselves what kind of improvement they'd make to the rear of the car appearance wise.

It is unanimous here that they are an improvement over the stock lights. Take a look for yourself.

That's actually not too shabby, all things considered. I saw Raliart, and was like, "Ouch."

I wish the JDM EVO IX MR Tails that I bought for my evo, I were that inexpensive.

I hear ya, just remember customers just dropped $30-35K on and EVO X, so $350 is not that bad. Remember when people were spending almost that much on 2G Altezza lights?

Depends on what kind of performance part. When comparing to a $1500 turbo I'd say this small mod is a drop in the bucket. Worthwhile if you don't like the look of your stock tails.
Not everyone is into dumping every penny under the hood and neglect the rest of the car in the process.

I think they look good on a white car. That being said, I have the polar opposite on my VIII (red tails on a white car) by having the VII tails on it and I think they look good too.

So... *shrugs*... who am I to decide?

I saw 2 evo's side by side at the dealership with the 2 different taillights. The newer black ones deffinately looked much better IMO.

I personally think they look soo much better with the Ralliart taillights. If I had an X I would definitely swap over to the Ralliart ones. But I am not like half of you and care only about performance. Performance is nice but to have a visually appealing car without the rice is always nice.

I also think all EVO 8 and 9 taillights are hideous except for the EVO IX MR black housed ones.

Definately look a ton better. I never really noticed how much the tail light angle down in the middle. Looks a little awkward, and against the flow of everything. 15 years from now when I get an EVO X, I'll get those tail lights off ebay for $39 shipped lol. And I'll prolly be called a ricer for it. :)

I think they look alot better than the stock ones myself. I would do it if I had that car and thought lights were worth 350 to change.

LOL. i had to put my input. i love the ralliart tails. unfortunately, the ralliart tails are really popular now with the evoXs.


a limited promo that hasnt been advertised much....
if anyone refers a customer to south coast mitsubishi and he buys a evo X...he will get a free set of ralliart tails.

Huh thats good to know that they switch. I assume so would the headlights. I have an 09 RA so this doesnt really help me and obviously I like the RA tailights better especially since the car they came on are 10k less. What would help me is a list of all the chassis differences between the two and what panels switch.:naughty::ugh:


I wonder if you can swap quarter panels so make the rear wide body as well?

6 yrs from now my warranty will have expired and I am going to go crazy with this car.
