does anyone know where i can find diagrams or any type of manual on the ECU and wiring for the ECU?
me and one or two other people are working on a little project, and this is the one thing that we need the most.
any info at all would be appreciated.
thanks :)

it has already been tried before (maybe). but my computer genious friend, and myself, who has learned a lot about DSMs, 'becoming a mechanic through necessity'. are trying to make a computer system built into the car itself 'disassembling a desktop pc and rigging a battery to it'. and making a link cable and program.
now my friend is brilliant, his major is in some type of computer stuff.
im fluent in C++, internal workings of most electronics, becoming a mechanic, and......am technically a Rocket Scientist. i never built a rocket, but i designed an engine for one, in detailed form, with long hours of research and calculations :)
any other diagrams on say......the test port or whatever.
would be greatly appreciated.

hey sounds like what i'm doing... it's a computer system going in a 1g, much like what the PPG car has but a little more "functional" so to speak. cameras, reecording capabilities, datalogging full time, neetwork conneectivity through reegular nic as well as a 802.11 card for weell... drivee by "hacking" hehee ;) gps and otheer custom made goodies i wanna hook up too. wee'll seee...
might wanna try tmo see if they can offer you some info. I'm suree they'd give it away if you don't seem like much of a threat.
and oh yeah, whatever you make... it beetter be running LINUX!!! ;)
