Pretty much everything in my old thread is irrelevant to the car now, I got fucked on the cage so I had to redo EVERYTHING... I've caged this car twice now... but... due to some good friends and my boss helping me out a shit ton to get the car on the right path, we finally have some new pics of the cage work.
TIG welded now, (some good MIG in a few tight spots) 25.5 spec chassis... with a few more bars added for safety... ;)

My Boss's 2G on the lift and my Mechanic's 2G under the lift, he is putting a 12 point cage in his project car right now.
Anyways.. ill be posting more progress... we have a few more bars to add and then its going threw hell and back sanding over and over to get the cage in the paint booth, then onto the sheet metal in the car I have to modify.
More pics soon.

Damn. What was wrong with the cage before? It looked like everything was going great.
Its good to see you not give up. I kinda know how it feels because I have to repaint my car because I was a dumbass and buffed my satin black clear coat which embedded rubbing compound into the clear. :tat:

It wasn't being welded correctly... so i had to pull it outta there and bring it to my work and completly re-do everything... cut almost all of the old bars out... rewelded what was salvagible... fun.
Been dabbling in getting the 9" set-up again and stuff painted soon... Ill have more pics up eventually.

How much does a cage like that cost from you guys just for the precut pieces?
Just wondering.....

Made everything out of scratch, As of right now we arent selling anything chassis wise... you would have to bring the car in for us to make it to the car and your desired need's... so many different rules for different chassis certs and racing classes... you really have to know what you want and what the car will be made for ahead of time.

^^ The fact he mentioned no specific price, you can be assured its hella expensive lol.
Kinda like the items on food/beverage menus at upscale restaurants.. they don't wanna scare you off. But as the saying goes, "If you have to ask, you probably couldn't afford it.." lulz

Yea, you have to be an open wallet when it comes to chassis cars... it will be open for awhile.
