So a long, long time ago I picked this beauty up for $450 if my memory serves me right. Well it was such a long time ago most, if not all pictures of it back then are MIA. Been through countless computers, cameras, a few moves, etc. I don't have many pics of the nitty gritty stuff like painting engine bay, cutting/welding intercooler pipes, etc. From here on out I will(should) have pretty good documentation on everything.

The begining:
When I bought her she was the only N/T awd dsm in the world. Nah, lol I don't actually believe the garbage I'm saying but, my point is, the PO figured it would be cheaper to put a n/t back in her and hack the 90 harness all to shit at the same time, and put a N/T ecu in.
Fast forward:
Got the engine built, installed, plummed etc. The wiring harness, however, was untouched. Long story short I got pretty good at reading schematics and was still having major issues. I have a pretty short fuse and something wasn't going as planned so a few week later I ended up with a full untouched 94 harness. Swapped everything over to 91+ Fresh built ecu with DSMlink as well. Has not run on this setup to date lol. In the midst of all this I decided to start the bodywork, gut the interior do brakes, suspension and other supporting mods for what was to come.
Went for the 255 install a few years ago, twisted the hardline off the fuel pump lid, broke all the studs off the tank that hold it on. Went to take the tank down broke all the studs off the car...Remember that short fuse?

So that will take care of that!
A lot of things done to the car were really just out of spite, some of which were bad ideas, but I'm still really happy with the direction the car is going and at this point, NO turning back now!

With the fuel situation putting me a step forward I figured I would really take 5 steps back and jump balls deep into the body work.
I have a very strict vision of how I want this car to look when it's done and I will not make any sacrifices. I plan on doing countless body mods(some of which are done already:)) that will really set this car apart from your typical tin can dsm. I love the factory body on these cars and nothing will be(drasticly) changed from it. IE ugly body kits.
It was a good idea at the time, but I'm afraid the tech guys at the track aren't going to like a relatively fast car with shaved door handles. I know it goes against the idea of having a super light car and ditching anything that doesn't make it go, stop, or turn BUT The downright sexy smooth look of it easily out weighs the 8-10 lbs added by the solinoids and wiring.

I of course had the typical rear 1/4 rust half way up the wheel well that had to be tended to as well.

Yeah, pretty severe on both sides.
This turned out pretty self explanatory

Shaved the gas door as well!
If you notice I welded up the holes for the vents that let the pressure escape from inside the cabin as I do NOT plan on installing the bulky looking molding down the side of the car.
Well the antenna and rear wiper don't fall into the go, turn or stop categories so they were taken care of as well.

The holes underneath I obviously welded up as well.
Today I shaved the third brake light:

Nope, Just kidding. Flush mounted it. It will look sick when the spoiler is black. I'm going to smoke the light, so that when the brake light is not on it will look like a completely slick spoiler.

Here are some random photos I have. Some being pretty recent.
Stay tuned for more paint/body work, SHE will remain a panda!

Haha, those are a lot of Kosei's! But everything looks good, clearly a lot of hard work going into this.

When are you planning on repainting it? Any work planned on the engine bay?

There is a lot of loose ends yet. I have just about everything exploded out, and I don't think any one thing is truly really "finished". I hate it, and it looks like a total hack, but I promise you everything will come together. I don't know when she'll see paint but I'm hoping to make it to the shootout with it this year. Hopefully, not in primer.
I'd like to move the fuse block into the car and do braided stainless brake lines from the proportioning valve out to the calipers. As well as the clutch line from the master. I'm going build a box around the filter and do some sort of ram air through the hood. (that should explain the awful weird filter location)
