What are some of the benefits from doing?

What are some of the benefits from doing?
Cost?

The thermal coating helps block heat transfer from the combustion process to the piston.

This means a cooler runing pistion, and in a turbo car it means more heat goes out the exhaust ports into the turbo. This in turn means more potential engergy for the turbo.
