Last year they were giving away free manuals and free rims. I didn't go but I heard it was awesome.

LOL, map quest shows those cities not far from the route it is telling me to take, Detroit is the farthest city away from that route but not bad.

Well I don't know what part of NY your in but you just need to get on I-70 west to Indy. Then get on I-74 west to Bloomington Normal. No way close to any of those city's.

It's great to have shows like this, but is there any shows that help with technical information of the 1G cars. I'm trying to restore mine back to factory mint and the car I have needs a lot of help. Without knowing the sources that were used to build the car, I'm kind of in the dark about where I can go for information outside a dealership. Interested in learning where the all the parts were produced to build these cars.

Well, isn't this quite the weekend on the 26th. It's my weekend off work, and the 24th is my bday. So I have 4 days off... :)

Now about getting there, it's all if my buddy is willing to drive there too.

Would love to go, but I'm being evicted, and need to move by the end of the month. Would like to know if there are going to be any rep's there for technical help with older DSM's! Sure could use the help and history lessons. My car is a 1991 Plymouth Laser, (read my information on the left) and have been getting a run around about who has what parts and so on from the dealers in my area. Also I would kinda of feel out of place there, my stock 1G Plymouth badged DSM vs all those tuned out Mitsubishi's. Don't know how I would fit in????

Im sure you would fit in fine. I have a 91 and it has all three car parts on it. I only live 45 min. from there, maybe only 25 min (Dsm time)

Actually, it seems I won't make it, I'm stuck at work till midnight, and it's an 8 hour drive, so I'd literally get no sleep the whole weekend. I wish I could.

I'm leaving the house around 8:30 should be there around 9:30. I was by the plant today. They were setting up tents and stage in the rain. The sky was all clear by 5pm. There is a slight chance of rain tomorrow but nothing to worry about.
