We've now got our DIYPNP kits together, documented, and ready to ship. It lets you build your own standalone, plug and play engine management system. Check it out:

One of the cars on the application list is the 2G DSM. We've provided generic documentation to build this for a wide variety of cars, but we'd be glad to provide the DSM community with even more: Specific directions for how to assemble it for DMSs, and base maps. We'd be glad to come up with these, and that's where you (particularly members in the Atlanta area) come in.
We'd like a good 2G DSM test car with the 4G63. Stock would be great but modified is OK too, as long as the test car is in good shape. We've got a special deal for the first
person who brings us a good test subject for this. Email us at websales@diyautotune.com for details. If you happen to have anything else on the application list (http://diyautotune.com/diypnp/models.html), the offer also applies to the first test volunteer to bring in one on the list (3000GT, Mirage, 2003-2005 EVO, etc).

Is this not against our forum rules for site sponsors?

Yes Matt, I believe you are correct in your observation, but I'm only going to let this happen one time, I will NOT let this happen again from now on.

Hate to break it to you guys but it appears you are a little slow on the uptake......already moved to the vendor section.

My apologies. I'll keep the announcements to the vendor forum.

Thanks for this contribution to the DSM community!
I must say this is the most versatile option out there at the least expensive price and now with even less of a learning curve.

Great! We have a DIYPNP for the 1G models already in the works and it's going to be out in a month or two. Kevin does great work with the MS - we were just testing a Miata with a VVT controller he'd designed about a week ago.

Good to hear one is coming. And yeah spoke to him about the vvt before and after the original engine blew up. Really cool to hear he picked up 30hp with just the vvt and tuning.

Wow, the price really goes up when you add a socket out the side. Is that connector really worth 2 more bills?

If all you saw was the socket on the side take another look at the feature list, it's long and wide. Cost to build a standard MS2 up with all of these features wouldn't save you much if any, and wouldn't be PNP. It's different strokes for different folks, the traditional MS systems aren't going anywhere, but you have another option now...

We're already there. :) This looks familiar...

The existing N76 connector will fit that plug; you'll use the 26, 16, and 22 pin sections, and have one space left empty.

also does it come with base map? or it is blank?
does it controll independent cylinders spark / injector ? does it have Fan controll? knock controll? or i need make some mods on board?

Mostly, it'll just need to be set up using jumpers, and pull up resistors put in spaces already included on the board.

We have a couple base maps, but so far none for a 4G63. Which is why we're looking for an Atlanta area volunteer.

There are trim tables for fuel but not spark. Sequential injection (and with it, cylinder by cylinder tuning) is an extra cost option.

Both are there.

We don't yet sell them as ready to run units, only as unassembled kits.
