Ok, I had a quick question about "knock". How can you tell if your car is knocking without a logging program or knock led? Can you tell if it is or no?

Easily answered by searching.

At about 20 counts of knock, I can feel that timing is being pulled drastically. Less than that and I don't feel any difference.

Yeah I wouldn't really rely on the I can feel the timing being pulled method. Especially if you don't have any idea of what that actually feels like. Buy a logger and do it right.

I'm not saying anyone should rely on feel to know when they are knocking. I have both a logger and a knock sum gauge that I can watch.
OP was asking if there was any way to tell if a car is knocking without a logger, so I answered his queston. But, of course 20cts is way too high to be the first indication of knock.
I do agree, buy a logger.

I totally agree with you that with experience you can recognize these things.:D Didn't want some noob to try to go cheap and end up detonation because he thought he could feel the knock. It would be pretty funny though.
