I picked up a car with a "built" motor. The guy got it from a friend of a friend of a....


Anyway he had no clue what was in the motor.

The rods have no identifiable markings. They have CARR SPS 34 7/16 bolts.

Pistons are JE but have no markings as well. In the bottom of the piston it says 85M_

I would gues Carillo since they have the Carr rod bolts. Everyone else seems to use ARP.

Weird that the p/n isn't on the bottom of the pin boss anymore.

Those are carrillo MI-4G6>-65906S rods.

I tried that but they have not numbers. I'd really like to try and identify them with out shipping one to them. $75 to have them find out what they are.

Might be able to get a rough estimate of dish cc, use calipers to get diameter, pin height, and tell them the application in an email and they may be able to help you out.
