Stock Eclipse Radio fit

I would like to put a stock casette radio from a '97 GS into a 92 GS. Has anyone done this before or know if it will fit/work correctly? Thanks!

here are some of the part numbers you will need to make your job easier.... metra part# 71-7001 this will plug into the 97 factory....& 70-1743 to plug on the 92's factory wiring in the car these two will be color coded so just match up the wires solder and tape and jam to your new radio these parts can be bought at circuit city or best buy .......good luck

Thanks for the info. Is Metra a brand name? Also, this should fit in with no problems, right? size wise and all?

yup metra is the brand name you'll just need to have the factroy bracket to swap out the radios good luck
