Currently I have no deck, or speakers. I'm looking for a deck in the $200 range and $50-60 a pair speakers. I already have a kicker ZR120 amp (2channel 4 subs). Let me know what you think, thanks

You can actually pick up a base model Pioneer or Sony CD player at walmart for between $150-180. They also have some semi decent 6x9's and 5 1/4's for between $40-70.

I had a Pioneer in my old car, and it never skipped, and even the base decks put out like 45w per channel.

How much of a stereo do ya really need, anyways? Doesn't help ya go fast. :)

It depends if you want a stereo worth a crap or not.

if you find a gread deal, you might be able to get a decent head unit for under $200. But the good ones start around $300 like the Clarion ProAudio DRX6675z, the Pioneer DEH-P5200, or the Nakamachi CD-45z(The Nak is the best under $400).

For 50-60 for 5.25s there are a lot of options, just listen to them. I personally like the AudioBahn A5000's but they are $65. They are coaxal but the tweeter is on a bridge over the other cone but doesn't puncture the cone.

6x9's are crap like other non-round speakers. You could fit 5.25s or 6.5 maybe back there instead and make it sound better.
