O.k. I don't want to slander any products, but has anybody used a turbonetics MBC and what where your impressions and how did you have it plumbed ? Any feed back would be appreciated.

Yeah I just bought one about a week ago and it's a piece of junk. Go with a hallman or a joe p. I have had my turbonetics mbc hooked up every possible way and I still can't get the damn thing to work. I have not really heard anything good about them, I would not reccomend it.

I used a Turbonetics MBC years ago. it worked good. We blew the head gasket on an old turbo Saab. (aah, the good ole' days).
But i would go with Joe P. Inexpensive and rock solid

Yea, I heard JoeP's are solid and affordable.

This must be some sort of record reviving a 6-yr old thread. It's good because you searched. Moving it to Parts Talk though.
I have used 2 MBCs' in my car.
-Dejon Tool MBC1 and,
-Joe P.
Both work great.

I've had 2 Joe P.'s over the years. Never had a problem. I wouldn't use anything else.

I do find it hilarious that you randomly answered a 6 year old question BTW.

Just to add, I just remembered I borrowed a buddy's MBC for a few weeks last year. It was a TurboXS (not Turbonetics) MBC and it worked great as well in regards to boost control. However, I didn't like it's design where you needed a friggin hex/allen key to adjust the boost. Always loved the knurled knob variety like the Joe P & Dejon MBC. That way, I can pull over really fast, adjust the boost and 5 seconds later I'm back in the car.
