The quality isn't going to get much better with my camera. I think they look pretty good IMO.

Tires are azenis st115s in the 215-50-17 size(25.5" tall)
The offset is 35 so I can fit my finger between the knuckle unlike my old tires that left wear marks. I was wondering where my hubcentric rings were? Apon futher inspection I measured about 67mm bore which means that don't need them. With the deep centering lug nuts they are very solidly attached. There is some wheel gap but its ok, I'm not planning on lowering it any time soon also.

For 625 shipped I can't complain;)

Thanks for the info. I, too, have a balck 2g and have been looking into the Subzero's for a while. I want to get Bronze, but if I got the deal you did, I'd have jumped on it too. I've got a site where they're $520 shipped for the 17's.
I have to call them and ask how much all the hardware is; valves, bolts, lugs, etc...

Do you have any more pics?

17x7 Fondmetal Type 6700's. Around $60 each from Discount Tire about 2 years ago. Just got around to putting them on last week. Not the best looking rim, but they were cheaper than the tires that are on them.

I introduced them in the lounge when I found them back then. I think mine look better every day. I was ready for the salesman to tell me it was a typo but for $600 to the door is really good for 17s.

i have no idea what type of rims these are but they are nice IMO, they are wrapped in Falken GR Beta FK-451s. Forgive me for the wing, the last owner put it on. The pic was taken a day after i took the car.

I know...they're not on my GSX, but they will be...one day. These are the sickest of the sick. Prodrive makes them in a 17" x 7.5", 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern, +48 offset. The ideal offset for a 17" x 7.5" wheel on a 2G GSX is between +38 & +45 w/ a max tire width of 235. That's only 3mm. off which can be taken care of with a very small spacer. Trust me...I work at Discount Tire Co. The GC-07 in this size only weighs 15.25 lbs. They're expensive though. On the other hand I get a HUGE employee discount. Try 10% over cost. Anyways...here ya go.

It's ASA AR1 black with a polished machined lip...haven't seen any of these on a 2ga/b...hopefully I'll be the only one, I like to be unique ;) Edit: If you click on the pic you'll get a better idea of what these wheels look like. They weight 22.9lbs a piece for a 17"...not bad.

HEY, they arent chrome, they are chrome alloy lol, they weigh about 21lb a piece for 18" zinneti, not bad i say correct ? hehe, im working on gettin 16" BBS in like 2 months after winter, or 3..

How do you paint your stock rims correctly? I've been told that the hot brake dust will crack and bubble the paint. I know there's a whole write up on it. i just want to get alot of input before i try it and make my DSM look stupid. Any good info will really be nice.

It's all in the prep work. I posted a thread a while back on this topic, do a search for the details. Basically:
strip old finish
sand metal
primer
sand primer smooth
paint
clearcoat
buff
