Headlight Problem:
1993 Eagle Talon
Headlights won't shut off. Tried disconnecting switch
nothing will disable headlights except disconnection
of relay.
Tried new relay same problem.
Disconnected remote starter same thing.
Please advise.

That has only happened to me once and the cause was the alternator. When it started to go bad my headlights wouldn't turn off and they would get brighter when I would hit the brake pedal.

Mine are always on as well. I kind of like it actually. I don't have to worry about turning on my lights and they shut off when the car shuts off.
I think the previous owner rigged something up for some reason but it seems more common. Maybe the headlights are powered or activated by the ignition 12V+?

Actually, I think yours may have daytime running lights. Is your DSM a Canadian model?

Sorry I should have explained myself better. My headlights dont go off at all. When the car is off. No key in the ignition. Allways on. My dash lights and gauge lights dont even come on. I unplug all the relays in the car, and the light are still on. The only way to get them to go off is to take the negative off the battery.
