I was curious if the guys incharge here had looked at possibly trying out some of the language support software to convert the site to another language like Japanese? I have some friends who said they'd join in here but they don't speak English so its impossible for them to understand what was being said. I know there's quite a few different companies out there that sell the conversion software. I'd be willing to kick in a little cash towards it. We might get a broader group of people that way. It maybe coming along slowly but the Japanese Mitsubishi Club I'm in is offering a English version of their site to include the converted BBS section.

That's interesting! Do you know of any sites where that product/service can be obtained? I assume this would be just for our non-English friends to read... they couldn't post and have into converted back into English could they?

Actually there are a couple that allow them to type a message in another language, the software converts it to English (not always perfect though) and posts it for them. The entire process is transparent to the user. Kind of like me using the http://www.translingo.com software. If you do a search for translation software you should get alot of choices. The most common languages that would be needed are Japanese and possibly Spanish.

That is a great idea! It would be cool to open the site up to even more people. The more the merrier. :)
Hell Yeah, I dlove to get some more members, that would be cool!

So does that mean that there's a chance that you'd get the software to do the conversion?

Of course there is a chance. :) Please give me the opportunity to investigate it first. Thanks.
