and here what i did to the rear seat area for my 12... its bolted down to the center two seat mounting holes...my amp a stuff is all hidden underneath everything... i also whipped up alittle cup holder, its not permanent, it just sits there when i need it... i just need to get a plastic strip to clamp the rear carpet with my new stuff...

The previous owner removed the factory oil pressure gauge and installed it underneath the radio. In place of the oil pressure gauge he installed a Cyberdyne A/F gauge. I didn't really care for the "ricer lightshow", so I installed a Jumptronix A/F gauge from my old Talon. I relocated the oil pressure gauge into the center vent panel, where it's easier to get a look at it. Eventually the Jumptronix is going to be replaced with the display unit for a wideband (at least that's the plan).

I swapped a black interior out of a 99 into my 95 GSX. Still need minor pieces to complete it, including the ebrake cover. Eventually plan to buy Evo seats and have the blue center section of them reupholstered to black or dark grey. I also want black carpeting. A shop in PA is going to take apart the screen and make a bezel for it so it sits flush in the dash.

The Greddy metal shift knob screws down quite a bit lower than either the factory or most aftermarket knobs. I'd be willing to bet it's still the same shifter assembly. The knob just makes it look a lot shorter.

Thought this looked good for awhile, then i had the crazy urge to get rid of the dsm logger and palm along with the s-afc and get dsmlink, so that stuff isnt there anymore, and i wanted to redo my entire interior so i don't even have one scrap of interior in my car, it's purely a shell, not even a dash, vents or anything in there anymore. I ended up buying a magnetic cell phone mount and just used the hi powered magnet on the back of my palm and I stick it between the gauges to the metal vent gauge holder. It works great and with the hi powered magnet i haven't had it fall yet no matter how hard i bang gears.

Yes, velcro from pepboys/autozone. There is enough surface to keep it there, it never moves.

Are you sure? It looks like it makes the pillar a little wider so it's even harder to see pedestrians crossing while you're making a left-hand turn. I don't know, to me, the pillar seems wide enough even without gauges.

That isnt to smart of a place either, you should have them attached to where your rear seat belt retractor comes out (on top).

Explanation - If belts are attached to the floor or straight dow (as they are) then they can compress your spine in a wreck, therfore cripleing you.

They pretty much have to be in a straight line or level with your shoulders. ;)

Yes, with a gauge bezel like that you loose the vents. There are other bezels out there that have vents cut into them so that you don't completely loose your heat/ac.

I was never a fan of those bezels for that exact reason. My gauge setup went through a few stages, too bad I don't have pics of each.

-single A pillar pod (boost)

-dual A pillar & radio bezel (boost/narrow AF/EGT/SAFC2)

Yeah, that car looks awesome, for some reason red cars with c/f hoods do it for me. I'm not a fan of bright/ high contrast interiors, but that turned out really nice, the quality of work looks excellent.

You can read a/f, volts and water temp via datalogger. Get a logger if you don't have one. Too many gauges looks tacky, IMO.

And the series.. I guess whatever one you like more. I have a phantom boost gauge, used to have an ultralight before... like the phantom more I think. With an orange bulb inside it, at nighttime it matches the stock gauge color nicely (although the background is white:o )

I have givin that thought, def not the best way to do it. Id spend the extra money and get it done professionally. In the end i guess it all matters how good you want it to look, and how much your willing to pay

Haha....I know Ive told this story before, but somtimes when I pull up to another car at night and they just stare.....I start pressing buttons and tapping on gauges and pretend Im trying to 'pilot' my car just like you said...It gets a great reaction, I usualy soon after rev up to my 5000rpm 2-step and launch like a plane trying to take off ;)

The best is when I take my 'noob' friends for a ride in the car...They cant figure out why the hell I have so much crap around the interior, so thats when I usually suprise them.....At about 3000rpm-3500, I say to them, "watch this"....

Right at that moment, I step on the throttle 100%, and press a button on my safc or a button on my center console somewhere....The car pulls like a mofo at 20psi and while its pulling thru the top of 3rd or whatnot, Im holding the button fully...>Finally when I shift I release it and get the biggest "WTF WAS THAT!!! HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE NAWZ!!?"

Interior still needs to be wiped down, the center console around the shifter replaced with a better non-oversprayed one, and I'll probably need to redo the mounting spots of the window net to the inside of the cage bars but if tech doesn't catch it then good.

Ha, nah, just messing, enjoy them! I couldn't pass up the deal, and IM glad b/c apparently they are on back order now! How tricky was the wiring?

Can you PM me exactly where you spliced for each source? Because the directions list you need a constant power (obvious) and then a source for the headlights to turn on the amber (obvious) but then another for the initial white background, which Im not too sure where to tap into...
