I cant seem to find out where to hook them up. I have them installed but they only come on when my dim lights are on. They dont come on when my parking lights are on or when my brights are on. If anyone knows where to hook them up to where they come on with all or any of my lights that would be a great help.

I had the same prob when installing the indigolz in me neeon. go get a cheap multimeter from auto zone or something and test the other wires around the one that you have it hooked up to now. you are probably in the right area tho.

i just tapped mine into the green with white striped wire in my fog light switch and have no problem.

any wire by your clutch that is factory and is green with a white stripe is what you need to tap it into, ie connecting it to your running lights.

dudes,
I'm having a problem with my indiglow gauge hookup. I have everything installed but when I hook up the red power wire
to my green/wht parking light, the parking lights stay on and the
headlights alarm stays on. What's up with that? BTW, I have the black wired to chassis ground. Is it possible I have a defective gauge?

thanks-

my guess would be its hooked up backwards.... our cars work by switching ground on/off not switching 12v.... so if you are grounding the ground wire durining hookup by tying it to the chassis and then to the grond of headlight system it would ground through you guage and tell yuor lights they are on etc etc similiar to what you are describing..... did these not come with *any* kinda of instructions?

thanks, that is my next thing to try. It does seem like the wires may be reversed. My gauges did not come with any instructions and what I found on the web indicated the hot red wire to the parking lights. I'm positive I found that wire, just not working correctly since my lights stay on as though the headlights are on...

I'd use the wire Backpack09 suggested, and try using... green to it... and red to power or actually what wires does your gauge thing have on it? I've never seen the setup... maybe knowing those will shed a bit of light on it...

My gauges recentlly started acting up. when i turn my lights on the indiglow gauges will light up and then go off and back on. It will stay on for no certain time then go off (again for no certain time) and it will keep doing this for around 15 minutes and then stay on. I checked all the connections again and they are fine. does anyone have any ideas on why the indiglows would be acting like this?
