Bay Area, California

I'm from San Jose looking for get togethers around here. I know of the Bay Area DSM Club, but I was told they don't really do much together.... I'd like to check out some other DSM projects, some road racing and drags. Anyone know of any?

I’m from Travis AFB. There are about 4 or 5 guys that live out here. We even have a guy with an 89 Mirage with an Eclipse motor that we have been working on. As far as I know the Wednesday night drags are over till spring for Sacramento and Sears point. If you ever want to come up here ill get some of the guys together and we could meet. Let me know.

I'm at Aborn and White. We're pretty close actually. Do you know of any events that go on regularly around here?

There's always some illigal races going on every friday and Saturday night, they meet up at Mc Carty ranch at Chevron Gas station at Milpitas around 11pm to 1 am. I use to race every weekend but since I got too many mods in my car right now I can't afford to get pull over and get a fix up tickets. By the way what color is you're car?

It's white. I don't have anything done to it yet. I'd be interested in checking out your car sometime though. I checked your mods page and it looks pretty extensive. Did you do many things yourself?

I did all the external mods in my car and all the internal engine mods, I just leave it to my mechanic I can't afford to screw up my engine :) Let me know when do you want to see my car.

Any of you guys gone to Sear's point on a Wed night? My friend and I were going to start going every so often, but I noticed that in the rules, only factory tint is allowed, and that would disqualify both my car and my friends. Do you guys know how lax the car inspectors are when it comes to those things?

moved here form Arizona. I have yet to hook up with]
people who really know about their cars, except for
my filipino bros, i am Malay so close enough, but all
the guys i know here got full modded exterior only,
dont know shit about shit, exept for exh and intake]
\WOW, i need to know good mech out there, i have done
pretty good amount of mods all on my own, with help
from my girl. So either way drop me a line out there

I wouldnt bother joining the bay area dsm list just to find out about get togethers.. they do something 2-3 times a year and that is about it.

Me and my girlfriend Destiny are in the East Bay and have 99 GSXs.

If you guys want to meet up sometime let me know. I am going to Sac Raceway for Test n Tune as soon as the rain starts. As of now, forecast for this saturday is no rain.. so I plan on going.

I'm in the south bay area, I go to the Hellyer and Bailey Races on friday and saturday night (They meet up at USA Gas on Bernal road at 12:00am - 3:00am). I got my 90 gsx a while ago but it needs a new engine and trans rebuild so its sitting around, it still runs though. But if I could find somepeople to help tune it i'd be driving it in no time, its pure stock (cept evo 3 manifold and porting) its one of those bad ass stock looking ones, all red. I love watching dsms race here, they destroy EVERYTHING!
I think it would be kick ass to start a DSM club in the bay area, or just join one.

one of my problems is... i dont know if i want to keep this 1st gen dsm... its got 180,000 and still running but i dont know how reliable it is. im think about just saving up 10,000$ and buying something else.. but damn a AWD LSD Turbo is just so tempting.. i need some enthusism from other people to keep it... i dont want to spend 6000 or more on this car and have it blow up on me!

sorry for babbeling... if you could give me some future outlook on this car that would be awesome.
