8 DSM's and if you throw in the 91 GVR4, and 89 Mirage Turbo that I used to own as well, the total comes to 10. Most GVR4 owners howl bloody murder if you call the car a DSM. I also owned a 86 Starion as well, but that's really pushing it. The 90 AWD is my current project car and the 93 is something I bought to sell for a profit. For some reason, it's still hanging around. :D

I'm definitely sticking with the GS-T for now -- but if anything happens to it, I'm going to find a nice 2gb GSX/TSi AWD. Would have gotten when I was buying the GS-T but couldn't find any within 500 miles of here.

Just about 3 weeks ago I purchased a '91 AWD TSi. I was passing by and saw it parked in the drive way of a house on a side street. I rang the door bell, asked if they would sell it.... and about $1,900 later... :)

youve obviously found the correct car to crash and die in. Theres been two paseos that have had fatal accedents in the past month here :confused: . I do agree to a certain extent BUT these cars only treat you like shit if you dont do all the proper maintnaince. If everything that you should do to a 15ish year old car was done in the first place people would have far less problems and far less outsiders hating on DSM reliability from people that dont maintain them. :burnout:

90 Laser RS bought At 13K. Traded for 91 Awd Laser RS Turbo used with 6K miles. Got 10.5 K for trade in for the 90(36K Miles) towards the selling price of 15K for the 91. Still have the 91 with 247K miles. Has been a great deal and fun to drive. Goes through snow like a rocket sled. If they made the same car today I'd buy another. Just did buy a new Mazdaspeed 6 for travel. It's a pretty sweet car as well.

just my 90 tsi. bought as timing victim, $500 worth of machine shop labor and a lot of my blood, sweat and tears. shes runnin perfectly now.
