I just found the Biggest crack ever in my manifold and it has a huge leak... will this affect my performance? Im replacing it but i just need to know

I had the same thing happen to mine. It was really weird too, b/c I heard like a whistling sound. Almost like a turbo spooling, turned out to be a crack in the mani. Now I do have a turbo to hear spool =)

what can i do to fix it for now until i have the money to replace it

ummmmm.. I dont have a SPECIFIC answer for you but I would try to use something that stands up to heat well.. perhaps some fiberglass heat-wrap for headers. You should be able to get some from JCWhitney and some stainless steel tiewrap for around 20-30$ shipped. If you do a good job, put it on tight and tie it down well that should at least help.. other than that I'm open to suggestions as well...

Well, I have seen a few guys try to weld a broken exhaust manifold but none seem to work nicely. Sooner or later they crack again under the same spot the welding was done. :(
They end up getting a replacement from the junkyard. Try looking at the trader and see if their is one for sale (cheap;) ).
