brake suze/upgrade???

i was wondering if anyone knows the stock rotor size for a 1.8 and wheather a change to 89-91 gs-t rotors and calipers would e worth while. i know that changing to the dual piston 92+ awd brake setup woul be better but i have access to a gs-t. ad i was also wondering if there was anything else that i could use off of a gst on my car...other than the engine.:D

im taking an educated guess here but I think that all front brakes were the same untill the 2 piston ones came out. I think that there are some differences in the rear brakes between the years but I dont know if any are better or worse. If you can just look at the brakes on the tsi and see if they are different then yours... maybe they were upgraded, hey you never know till you look.

The brake rotors and calipersin your 1.8 are the same as the ones on the 89-91 GS-T's. So no need to change them.:( ;)
