Ok, first off I still have stock springs and shocks, lol. But, after installing 17x7 rims and 225/45/17 tires, the camber was visibly positive. I could not get it back in spec. So, I put in new ball joints and new Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, up front. Better, but not quite right on the camber, yet. No apparent damage to any lower control arm or anything else.
I found these Camber adjusting bolts @ Lightning Motorsports http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/
for $23. This price is for both sides, a set of two bolts. Part #3541 for 1G's.
Install was very easy, instructions were included in the box. This is how I did it: Jack the car up, put a jack stand under her, remove the wheel, remove the top strut bolt, install this bolt, loosen up the bottom bolt, put the jack under the lower control arm, put a little jack pressure on the control arm, retighten the strut bolts, remove the jack, reinstall wheels, set her down, RECHECK toe-in measurement, IT WILL CHANGE, re-adjust toe-in equally from both sides...Easy.
AHHHHHH, perfection at last! They advertise +/- 1 degree camber adjustment range, there is an easy to read arrow stamped on the head for adjusting. IMHO, they work great! When I get my KYB AGX's and Eibach Pro-kits, (someday) I will add to this review if they are enough adjustment. I hope so.
