I searched the forums, and checked the manual, and I can't find anything. Does anyone know what the procedure is to adjust the headlights? I know how to set the car up against a wall, and where the lights need to be aimed, but I don't know how to physically adjust them. Short of shimming the bolts or light I am out of ideas.

maybe im not thinking right.....but dont all DSM's 90-99 have a bubble level built into each light????? I sure as shit know my 1g had them.

Set it on level ground and center the air bubble.

I know my 98 does... theres 2 screws if I'm not mistaken for each light... 1 adjusts left/right the other top/bottom.... if you look at the front of your fog lights you will see the SAME screws to adjust those also... really simple ;)

the screws to adjust the head lights are those grey looking gear thingies on the back of each headlamp. there are levels too so just park on a level spot (dont need a wall) and just level them out both ways w/ the screws *you can use your hands to adjust them*

I adjusted the right headlamp on mine it is EZ as pie.. or cake.. or whatever else is easy (Pam anderson?)

(no1 take offense to that last comment I was just adding some attempted humor to the post..)

Not really an answer to your question (it's already been answered) but just some info for everyone else.

1G's with popups don't have a bubble level to adjust the headlights. You have to adjust them against a wall, or wait for a foggy night to see the beams:D

92-99 have the bubble levels. my 92 has one bubble leveler per side...so im not sure if its for the high or low beams, or tied into both.
