Hey guys,
I know there's been a lot of talk about the advantages of having a billet TC compared to a remanufactured stock one. This will shed some light on the situation.

cool, interesting read. Does the stock lock up? and does the torque multiplication give us more torque stock then the stock manual exlipses?

The stock A/T does lock up at highway speeds, I believe.

Yea the stock does have lock up.

The stock 2G converter locks up. 1Gs have non-lockup converters.
