automatic transmission help

i have a 91 tsi awd automatic.
i know quite a bit about dsms,but this one has got me
i have no overdrive!!!!!
i start out fine,
first threw third.then when it comes time to go into overdrive
it revs up . like its in neutral.

im almost sure its not the trans. computer.
feel free to comment.

GO to my website and look at end clutch upgrade page. If you get a chance and have a garage, pull and check your OD end clutch. See if your discs are messed up like the picture on the site. http://www.plymouthlaser.com/ec.htm If so, they will need replacing.

Check for broken wires and so on as the other post said.
