I just purchased my pocket logger and I was wondering what is the correct way to do a 3rd gear pull on a A/T? Should I turn the OD off? What mph do you guys think that I should take off at? If my car downshifts will I get a weird my log? Please help.

coast at 70mph and turn o'd off so your in 3rd gear and punch it, it wont downshift doing 70. Have plenty o room cuz 3rd winds out to 120mph if your going all the way to redline that is.

I'am in the process of getting an AFPR soon.
I don't have an AFPR and never had... Want ot know something scary? My Zex kit raises FP over what it already is under boost. I bet I'm hitting some insanely high fuel preasure numbers on the spray. I ran a 11.91 @ 114mph with all the honeycombs in and I still had to lean out my afc from 5 to 7k at -29. All that FP makes my 550s flow like mad. Probably not the best thing to do. But it's never given me any problems.

Yeap, I know what you mean Nano. BTW, those times are very nice indeed!!
How's is that engine holding up after after months of using the Zex system?
With an AFPR you can fine tune your fuel system a little bit better and avoid running super rich at WOT.
I know.. I'm in a big need for an AFPR. I do compresion tests all the time to check the engines health and it's always perfect. Engine was holding out perfectly fine untill the cams went in though. The cams gained me 2.5mph. First couple of runs with the cams and the head gasket blows. I guess that's the max my car could take with the stock head bolts. Head probably floated. It sprayed coolant from the reseirvor all over the engine. Now if the car is under boost it'll boil a little coolant over. Nothing serious. But I'm not spraying again untill it's fixed. I'll probably do that in two weeks. At least I know the limits.

I logged the AT yesterday and did it w/o OD and let her rip up to 95 MPH (Several times). Mad knock. I riched up the SAFC on the high side and knocked the boost back down ... got the numbers in half but still knock above normal.... The EGTs were low showing I was Rich...
I need to start checking Fuel pressure regulator and other things. About 4K RPM is when it starts knocking and pulling the timing.
Of course my temp was over 200 degrees as well.... Sigh. I hate tuning.
Hey Nano, take that picture of your car off... I'm Jealous.. :P Green is my favorite color too.. Anyway, it looks good.

Thanks for the compliments :) .. I first read to take the picture down and I was a little confused... LOL..
It sounds weird that you'd be getting lots of nock with conseritive tunning. How badly does your timming get pulled?

I dont have the numbers. I should have got them. I can call the guy who did it for me and get them. I need to go ahead and order the logger since I have 2 DSMs.
Been busy and angry with certain vendors lately not following thru on the goods. Soon, I will make them a Nice big Slander Banner for my Home Page.
Plus, the 1993 is getting a major turbo upgrade, much more fuel, the works very soon.
The AT is good to go until I upgrade the turbo,,,,,,,again.
