What is bad about the 1.8 L?-its ungodly slow, and there are little aftermarket performance parts avalible

-92 Eclipse Auto, 1.8L
-No, love some SR20. [i'm somewhat biased]
-Good on gas, with ample power to get up hills.
-No mods
-Commute to and from work and home.
-30mpg
-Bought it from a family member.
-God help it in the snow.
-Belt-driven, SOHC.
-6, Seems pretty simple to work on.
-Yes, it feels safe to ride in.
-I've found parts all over the place, very easy to acquire.
-It's cute.
-It's slow. Real slow.

Economy is the crap that raises taxes, lay's people off from work, and closes buisnesses.

Good mileage, just never measured it

The look of the 1g Talon is just plain KILLER

AWD is perfect for any weather condition, except for tsunamis, tornados, and earthquakes

The 1.8L is so hella slow that I have to divert to N20 :)

-K&N Filter with custom intake pipe, 2.25 custom exhaust with Ultraflo Muffler

-Drive it to work and to college

-Was a gift from my parents

-While mine is a FWD car, I have driven an AWD one and fell in love with it.

-ECU, those caps sure know how to mess everything up

-James does the work in there, but for me it's more like a 6

-Yes

-Nope, 1.8 parts are difficult to find down here in PR

What is good about the 1.8 L?
-The fuel economy, the looks, the interior, etc...

What is bad about the 1.8 L?
No many performance parts and OEM replacement parts are becoming just as difficult to get. Plus no turbo under the hood.

-Yes/No. Best bang for the buck, easily Mod'able/ Known for thier problems. Transfer cases, trannys, crankwalk, etc...

-AM Boost guage, and AF guage if you count that as a Mod. ABout $125 with pillar

-I had a Talon DL, and I loved the thing! So getting another was a no brainer really, but went for the Turbo 2nd time around

-AWD would be good, but Ive never had a problem in snow etc...

-The reputation for failures

not bad being an FWD. slap some big wheels/tires on it, and it's pretty stable snow or rain

Not at all, its a pain and they always cost a ton

What do you think of a DSM as an all wether vehicle? awd would be better, but with a nice set of tires it handles just fine in all weather
